Thanks for stopping by! My name is Erica and my husband
is James. We met in Austin, TX back in 2009 and I guess you could say it was
love at first sight. We dated for a few years and got married in October of
2012. I'd like to say we are both creative people on our own, but it wasn't
until recently that we started merging our creative spirits together. James
mainly works with metal, he's a mechanic and loves to weld. I, on the other
hand, love wood, specifically pallet or older salvaged wood. There's something
about giving a second chance to things that have been looked over that I love.
We work together, giving one another advice and suggestions along the way. He
helps me with power tools (although I am getting much better) and I help him with
the specifics and aesthetics. I am also a teacher and I absolutely love it! I've
been teaching since 2008, starting with my own classroom and now I work in
special education.
We have three dogs that are our children, Jack the pug, Oreo who is a black lab mix and our newest addition, Sadie, who was a rescue. We think she's a lab pit-bull mix but who knows! She's pretty adorable though!!
